Community + Intentionality

You said. We listened.

From the moment we shared our second Garment Duffle prototype, you had thoughts and we’ve been paying attention. Hundreds of comments, questions and suggestions have helped us look at this bag through the eyes of the people who may one day carry it. From requests for backpack straps to better carrying comfort with the crossbody strap and thoughtful finishing details, your feedback is helping shape what comes next. We’re not designing behind closed doors. We’re building this with our community...and we’re not finished yet.

Thoughtfully designed.

Every detail of the Garment Duffle is designed with intention. Instead of starting with an empty bag and adding pockets, we started with the way people actually pack, garments, shoes, tech, toiletries and everything in between, and designed a dedicated place for each. From exterior garment access to built-in organization and separate storage, every feature has a purpose: to make packing more intuitive, keep belongings organized, and make getting what you need along the way easier.

Founder Philosophy

Carrying the Story Forward — Together

Samaán began with a belief that the things we carry—and the way we carry them—should make the journey easier.

The Garment Duffle is an extension of that belief.

It started with the small frustrations I experienced as a traveler: digging through a bag for what I needed, trying to keep shoes separate from clothing, finding a place for my laptop, or unpacking everything just to reach one thing.

I kept asking myself: Why aren’t our bags designed more intentionally around the way we actually pack?

So, I decided to build one.

Not simply with more pockets, but with purpose. A thoughtful place for the things we carry, designed to make packing feel a little less stressful and traveling a little more intuitive.

Because what you carry matters.

And what you carry it in should matter too.
